I am currently a full time lecturer for the FLB, which is part of Varsity College, in Sandton. My field of speciality is Management Accounting (from under-grad to post-graduate
In my previous company I was a Financial Analyst Manager for Diplomat SA. Diplomat is not the luggage company but the international FMCG Company distributing/marketing etc. for P&G (Procter and Gamble) and Mondelez (know before as Kraft Foods). Before that I worked for the Shoprite Group of Companies where I completed my articles.
I am qualified ACMA/GCMA as well as a CA (SA). I have two Honours degrees, an Advanced Programme in taxation and I am currently registered to study my MPhil. In the field of accounting education.
I started to lecture part-time for IBTC way back in 2011. My first subject (and still one of my favourites) was E1. Since then I lectured E1, P1, C1 and C2 in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Pretoria.
Standing in front of a group of students, all being there to listen to what you have to say – it’s very scary but also very exciting. I love to help students, and I absolutely love it when they pass the exams and continue their part to becoming an ACMA/GCMA. Their success is my success, and even if I contribute only a small portion to the hard work, I am very privileged and grateful to help.
